2. Charging Bay Rules & Overstay Etiquette

To ensure fair, uninterrupted access for all electric vehicle operators across our network:

  • Authorized Usage Only: Charging bays are exclusively reserved for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles actively engaged in a verified charging cycle. Internal combustion vehicles are strictly prohibited from parking in designated EV bays.
  • Overstay & Idle Bay Fees: A 15-minute grace period is granted following the completion of your charging session (or reaching user-defined battery percentage). Thereafter, an automated idle fee of ₹ 5.00 per minute will be charged to the user's account to discourage bay hogging and prevent queue bottlenecks.
  • Equipment Care: Users must handle all charging cables, CCS2 couplers, and touchscreens with reasonable care. Couplers must be returned firmly into their holsters upon session conclusion.

3. Pricing, Tariffs & Billing Transparency

  • Dynamic Energy Tariffs: Charging is billed per unit of electrical energy delivered (kWh) plus applicable statutory taxes (GST), as displayed clearly on the dispenser screen and mobile application prior to initiating the charge.
  • Pre-Authorization Holds: For debit/credit transactions, an automated pre-authorization hold may be placed and will be adjusted immediately upon session completion against actual energy consumed.
  • Disruption Refunds: In the event of grid interruption or hardware malfunction causing an incomplete cycle, the user will only be billed for units successfully transferred to the vehicle. Any excess balance deducted will be credited to the user's digital wallet within 3 business hours.

4. First Destination Premises & Amenities

Users patronizing Destination 01 food courts, executive lounges, and driver amenities agree to maintain decorum and respect facility cleanliness. Commercial vendors operate under licensed hygiene standards. The Company reserves the right to deny admission to individuals causing disruption, vandalism, or compromising driver safety.

5. Limitation of Liability & Vehicle Battery Safety

  • Vehicle Condition: Users warrant that their vehicle inlet, Battery Management System (BMS), and onboard charging systems are in safe operating condition, factory certified, and free of unauthorized modifications.
  • Protective Cut-Offs: Our 60kW and 120kW fast dispensers contain redundant ground fault and thermal cut-off mechanisms. AutoKar EV is not liable for battery degradation resulting from manufacturer defects or pre-existing vehicle electrical flaws.
  • Force Majeure: AutoKar EV is excused from performance obligations caused by regional power grid blackouts, lightning strikes, severe weather catastrophes, or state emergency declarations.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India. Any controversy, claim, or legal dispute arising out of or relating to AutoKar EV operations, billing, or premises shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), Tamil Nadu, India.
